The current rector of St. Paul's, Reverend Canon Wayne Isaacs, as he is affectionately called, was trained for the sacred ministry at Codrington College, Barbados. He graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts (Theology), and in 1985 he received the Masters of Sacred Theology from Yale University. Fr. Wayne served in the diocese of the Windward Islands from 1978-1988. He returned to Barbados in 1988 and served as rector of St. Ambrose until 1995, after which he became rector of St. Paul's. Wayne is happily married to Yvadne and they have three sons, Paul, Simon, and Jason.
